Revisiting

Revisiting the past can be both endearing and frustrating.

I recently dug out all my journals and glanced through them because i was wanting to find a poem i have written. I re-learned some lessons, remembering and reliving the experiences, trying to draw parallels along the way.

I realised I have let go of alot of things, some good, some bad. mostly bad. Which is good!

Some of the lessons i forgot along the way and i ended up making the same mistakes.

some of the lesson i learnt it well and my subsequent behaviours, decisions, beliefs have altered to suit the better.

I realised I used to write a lot alot. I must have been a really moody chap, or, i must have been really busy with work. now, the long break away from writing has rob my mind of words and imagery. i dont reflect as much as i used to. i dont write as much as i used to. my past 4 years in my job has very little to look back because there was very little written history.

dont know it is good or bad. but i sure do miss writing....constantly coming up with phrases i like...haha...
